Night Drives:

When the sun goes down the diurnal (daytime) animals go to sleep and the nocturnal (night-time) animals come out to play.
Get the chance to see the more elusive animals such as the brown hyena, aardvark and porcupine under the undisturbed African stars.

Guided Non-Big 5 Bush Walks:

Want to discover the bush while on foot, with the opportunity of getting up close with antelope, while exploring more of the smaller things including birds, flora and fauna. A qualified Game Ranger takes you out on an exciting walk through the non 'Big 5" side of Amakhala Game Reserve.

Price: R450 per person

Guided Big 5 Game Walks 

Explore the Big 5 on a wilderness walk with a fully qualified Trails Guide along with the opportunity to get up close with antelope, while exploring the smaller things including bids, flora and fauna.  Duration approx 2 hours after breakfast. 

Price: R800 per person

These walks are provided by independent trails guides and are subject to availability. Participants must be in physically good health. We regret no persons under the age of 16.
